Probably the most complex song I've written, it was composed of many little pieces I had come up with after finishing my previous release (when I realized they all went together so well). The lyrics started from a strange desire to start a song with the word Green.

Don’t know, if I can explain, (you know I’ve) always lost something, in the strange
Conversion from, pictured thoughts, to words that come out, slow as knots
“The world is changing, and we’ve been wasting, our time for much too long”
So cluctch my hand, we’ll get there before dawn

So many pages turned, so many lessons learned, so many miles spurned, so much wax has burned

Red, like your, blushing cheeks, when you say
